Project Engineer

Goodall Brazier have recently partnered with leading general contractors to assist in their search for a Project Engineer to join their San Francisco team. This contractors works on projects spanning Life Sciences, Tech, MEP, AD Tech, Office and TI with projects ranging in value from $1M-$100M. They are looking to add a crucial member to their team to aid their continued expansion in the San Francisco market and play an active role in the growth of the company.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the management of major client contracts and construction projects. Acting as the vital link between the field and the office, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and preconstruction teams, you will contribute to both the technical and operational success of each project.

Day to Day Responsibilities of this role:

• Support the oversight of projects from preconstruction through to completion, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage
• Assist in acting as a point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Collaborate with estimation and preconstruction teams to review plans, specifications, and bid documentation
• Coordinate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and progress reports
• Help plan, organize, and track project activities under the direction of senior project leadership
• Monitor project performance, schedules, and budgets to ensure key milestones are achieved
• Identify risks or issues early and support the implementation of corrective actions
• Participate in job site visits to ensure work aligns with design, safety, and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• 0-3 years’ experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination roles
