We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in real-time streaming platforms, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, low-latency data pipelines and backend services in cloud-native environments.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Distributed Systems and Event-Driven Architecture
- Hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and Apache Beam
- Experience building real-time, low-latency streaming pipelines
- Strong AWS knowledge including EKS, ECS, IAM, and VPC
- Proficiency in backend development using Java, Scala, Python, or G
- Experience designing and operating scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant platform
- Good understanding of microservices, cloud-native architectures, and system scalability
Preferred:
- Sydney-based or onshore Australia candidates
- Experience with Kubernetes and large-scale data platform
