Apiam Animal Health is one of Australia’s leading vertically integrated animal health companies, providing veterinary products and services across the production and companion animal sectors. Apiam brings together a national team of veterinarians, technical specialists and business professionals across all facets of the Animal Health Industry.
We are seeking an experienced web platform developer to join the team at our South Melbourne head office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of web platforms and driving continuous improvement across performance, functionality, and search optimisation.
In this position, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimisation of our websites. These sites include bespoke builds tailored to individual clinic branding, requiring a strong understanding of scalable architecture while maintaining unique design and functionality across each site. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure platforms are high-performing, user-friendly, and aligned with best-practice technical SEO standards.
To be successful, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in web development along with strong expertise in technical SEO and demonstrable experience developing and managing 50+ websites. A solid understanding of canonical architecture, site structure, indexing, and crawl optimisation is essential. You will be confident identifying and resolving technical issues that impact site performance and search visibility, and working across multi-site web environments, with the ability to manage complex builds customised to individual clinic branding and user requirements.
You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can work both independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills and a solutions-focused mindset will be key to success in this role.
