You will lead the complete enrollment engine for GT Anywhere and direct brand strategy across virtual, campus, and summer programs. Your mandate is clear: transform high-intent demand into 1,000 enrolled families while positioning gt.school as the trusted authority in gifted K–8 education.

No inherited playbook exists. You will design the funnel, establish positioning, execute experimentation, and construct a dependable execution machine leveraging agencies, freelancers, and tools. You will function with autonomy and direct accountability for outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading the complete enrollment funnel for GT Anywhere with direct accountability for enrollments, conversion rates, and CAC
  • Architecting and executing continuous experimentation to uncover and remove high-impact conversion bottlenecks
  • Leveraging GenAI tools and AI-enabled workflows to accelerate marketing analysis, creative iteration, funnel diagnostics, and execution velocity
  • Developing the annual marketing strategy across virtual, campus, and summer programs, encompassing positioning, segments, channel mix, budget allocation, and quantifiable goals
  • Creating a high-velocity execution system that reliably delivers through agencies, freelancers, AI tools, and marketing technology
  • Collaborating directly with enrollment and school teams to convert family feedback into more precise messaging and higher-converting creative

  • Executing awareness-only campaigns without enrollment accountability
  • Functioning as a request-taker for ad hoc marketing tasks with unclear ROI
  • Waiting on slow approvals or large bureaucratic teams to execute

VP Of Marketing Key Responsibilities

Design and operate a full-funnel growth engine that transforms existing demand into 1,000 enrolled families while establishing gt.school as the category-defining brand in gifted K–8 education.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or equivalent)
  • 10+ years of experience leading full-funnel marketing strategy and measurable outcomes in startup, technology, or high-growth environments
  • Proven accountability for hard conversion metrics such as enrollments, revenue, CAC, and conversion rates
  • Strong funnel analytics capability with a track record of diagnosing issues and prioritizing high-impact improvements
  • Experience establishing brand strategy, positioning, and messaging at a company level
  • Practical GenAI fluency, with specific examples of using AI tools or AI-enabled workflows to improve marketing productivity, execution speed, analysis quality, or business outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage scalable execution systems using agencies, freelancers, AI tools, and marketing technology
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) in a remote role based in the United States

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
