About the Role

PPC Adviser is hiring an experienced Amazon Advertising Strategist to help manage and optimize advertising performance across a growing portfolio of Amazon accounts.

This role is primarily focused on Amazon advertising strategy, execution, and performance improvement. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Amazon PPC, understands how to manage campaigns across different objectives and account types, and can confidently identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scale, ranking, and profitability.

This is not a heavily client-facing account management role. You may participate in select client calls when advertising strategy or performance explanation is needed, but the core responsibility is hands-on Amazon advertising management and strategic optimization.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brands Video, and Sponsored Display
  • Develop and execute Amazon advertising strategies designed to improve sales, profitability, ranking, TACOS, ROAS, ACOS, and overall account performance
  • Manage keyword research, search term analysis, campaign structure, targeting strategy, bid optimization, budget optimization, and placement optimization
  • Monitor organic rank, keyword performance, and search visibility to understand how advertising strategy impacts broader Amazon performance
  • Analyze campaign and account performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, scaling opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Audit advertising accounts to identify quick wins, structural improvements, wasted spend, missed opportunities, and long-term strategic recommendations
  • Optimize bids, budgets, placements, match types, targeting, campaign segmentation, and spend allocation across multiple accounts
  • Work across different campaign types and objectives, including branded defense, non-branded growth, competitor targeting, product targeting, ranking campaigns, launch support, profitability improvement, and scaling initiatives
  • Prepare clear performance insights, recommendations, and strategic notes for internal and occasional client-facing discussions
  • Participate in select client calls when Amazon advertising expertise is needed
  • Review listing and catalog factors that impact advertising performance, including pricing, reviews, conversion rate, Buy Box issues, suppressed listings, titles, images, and content quality
  • Collaborate with internal team members to align advertising strategy with broader client goals
  • Stay current on Amazon Ads updates, platform changes, new campaign types, reporting improvements, and best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing Amazon advertising campaigns across multiple brands, accounts, or product categories
  • Strong hands-on experience with Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brands Video, and Sponsored Display
  • Deep understanding of Amazon PPC strategy, including campaign structure, keyword targeting, product targeting, bid strategy, budget allocation, placement optimization, and performance analysis
  • Experience using advertising strategy to support ranking, product launches, sales growth, profitability, and account-level goals
  • Strong understanding of key Amazon advertising and business metrics, including ACOS, ROAS, TACOS, CTR, CVR, CPC, spend, sales, impression share, organic rank, and profitability
  • Ability to analyze data and turn it into clear, actionable advertising strategy
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-minded approach
  • Ability to communicate advertising performance and strategic recommendations clearly
  • Experience working in an agency environment or managing multiple Amazon brands is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Amazon DSP is a strong plus, but not required

You should be comfortable reviewing campaign data, identifying what needs to change, and taking action to improve performance. You understand how Amazon advertising connects to ranking, conversion rate, profitability, budget allocation, and overall account growth.

This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to focus primarily on Amazon advertising rather than spending most of their time in client meetings. You should still be able to explain performance clearly and support client conversations when needed, but your main value will come from your ability to drive results through strong Amazon advertising strategy and execution.
