About The Role
As an Empower QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of mortgage origination platforms, including Empower Loan Origination System (LOS) and a proprietary Loan Officer Digital system. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to validate workflows, execute testing procedures, and support the deployment of high-quality releases. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 2–8 years of experience in QA or manual testing within financial services or mortgage domain
- Proven experience in test case creation and execution
- Understanding of mortgage lending workflows and processes
- Basic knowledge of regulatory practices such as TRID
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Responsibilities
- Review requirements and develop detailed manual test cases and scripts
- Execute functional and end-to-end testing across Empower LOS and Loan Officer Digital platform
- Validate mortgage workflows and business scenarios to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Identify, document, and track defects and anomalies throughout testing cycles
- Validate regulatory workflows, including TRID compliance, to meet legal standards
- Proactively identify functional and regulatory gaps and communicate findings to relevant teams
- Collaborate with business, QA, and release teams during testing phases to ensure seamless deployment
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation standards
