About the Role:
We are looking for a Director - Marketing to lead the company's digital growth engine. This role will own significant marketing investments and be accountable for driving efficient customer growth.The ideal candidate combines strong performance marketing expertise with strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, and Creative teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Marketing:
- Own customer acquisition and re-engagement across Google, Meta, Apple Search Ads, Affiliates, DSPs, and emerging channels.
- Manage media budgets, channel mix, bidding, targeting, and creative testing.
- Drive improvements in CAC, ROAS, activation, and payback.
Digital Brand Marketing:
- Lead digital brand media strategy across Meta, Google, YouTube, DSPs, and direct publisher partnerships.
- Build awareness, consideration, and demand generation through upper- and mid-funnel campaigns.
- Partner with Creative teams to develop effective digital-first campaigns.
CRM & Lifecycle Marketing:
- Own retention, engagement, and reactivation through Clevertap and Plotline.
- Develop lifecycle journeys across Push, Email, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and In-App channels.
- Improve retention, frequency, and customer lifetime value through segmentation and personalization.
SEO & ASO:
- Own Search Engine and App Store Optimization strategy.
- Improve organic traffic, app discoverability, and conversion through content, technical optimization, and keyword strategy.
Marketing Technology & Measurement:
- Act as a marketing partner for Product and Engineering teams.
- Define requirements and priorities across attribution, analytics, CRM, audience platforms, experimentation, and automation.
- Build best-in-class measurement and reporting capabilities to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Strong hold on iOS SKAN attribution and familiarity with navigating around the ATT guardrails.
What We're Looking For:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or digital marketing roles.
- Proven track record of scaling customer growth in consumer internet, e-commerce, quick commerce, marketplaces, or similar businesses.
- Deep expertise across Google, Meta, Apple Search Ads, Affiliates, and Programmatic.
- Experience leading CRM/lifecycle marketing and managing large marketing budgets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience in managing a team of 5+ direct reportees in a high stakes environment.
