Haier Europe is looking for a Product Manager to cover our Room and Light Commercial DX ranges of air conditioning systems. This is your chance to take real ownership of the future.

This role is integral to the development and success of some of our most popular product lines. You will be working cross-functionally to ensure our product meets customer needs and align with the company’s strategic goals. You will be a highly proactive individual, results driven technical professional, that’s keen to make an impact in the HVAC world. This role gives you the chance to be at the hub of future products as you will be working with the R&D teams as well as the sales & Marketing teams to ensure a great new product launch as well as maintain the success we have in the market with our existing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research with the market and customers to define latest trends and needs then transfer this into the product vision and strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Develop and prioritise product roadmaps that align with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, such as specifications and user stories.
  • Develop a detailed product remit that includes technical specifications, target pricing, and forecast sales, ensuring support literature is ready for launch date.
  • Produce project and launch plans, coordinating with the Marketing & Sales Teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Analyse product performance metrics and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Understand market drivers, unique selling points (USPs), positioning, and differentiation as well as maintaining a market bench mark document.
  • Monitor market, competitor, and industry trends to implement actions that leverage market opportunities.
  • Estimate demand forecasts for goods by analysing trends and seasonality patterns, updating ERP (QAD) accordingly.
  • Participate in meetings to facilitate business decisions on inventory and manufacturing.
  • Monitor and maintain optimised inventory levels of stock.

About You :

  • At least 3 years proven experience in product management or a similar role in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC go-to-market strategies and full product lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement and marketing strategies.
  • You will be one of the technical experts on your product.
  • Proactive and inquisitive nature, coupled with excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Ideally a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

What We Offer

We're open to candidates based anywhere within the EU. Depending upon your location office or remote working will be considered. However, this role may be particularly suited to someone located in one of Europe's larger RAC markets. The role would entail some travel with the need to visit the markets in Europe as well as our own offices, and you should also consider at least one trip per year to China. Salary will depend upon experience and location but will be in the range from €50k to €70k per annum plus normal company benefits.
