Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to digitize new patterns and existing patterns using Gerber Accumark.
- Make production markers for garment cutting.
- Grade production patterns based on our measurement charts.
- Create development and production patterns, and make changes and edits.
- Provide advice and or input on the right techniques to construct the garment.
- Work with pattern makers on construction based off patterns.
- Maintain a library of patterns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Critical Skills Needed:
- Working knowledge of and be comfortable using computers, with Gerber Accumark system.
- Must be capable of working with a variety of fabrics (woven and knit), and thus be able to work with patterns for stretch and non-stretch.
- Must have great attention to detail.
- Must be good with numbers.
- Organized and able to work under tight deadlines.
Base Salary Range:
$85,000 — $95,000
Salary is commensurate with experience. Disclosed in accordance with the NYC Salary Transparency Law.
