As Safety & Environmental Manager, you are the driving force behind safety, health, and the environment at our locations in Dommelen (90%) and Arcen (10% – present on average once a month) . You ensure that our breweries not only comply with laws and regulations but also continuously become safer and more sustainable. You work hands-on, but with a clear vision for improvement and change.

What are you going to do

• EHS Strategy & Change You develop and implement EHS policies and improve programs. You are strong in change management : you get people on board with new working methods, procedures, and a stronger safety culture – even without direct hierarchical responsibility. You drive change indirectly through influence, persuasion, and leadership.
• Daily Coordination & Priorities In an environment with diverse topics and projects, you set the right priorities , juggle multiple tasks , and ensure structured follow-up. You lead EHS projects, monitor performance, risks, incidents, and improvement actions, and report on these.
• Training, Awareness & Prevention You provide training and presentations on safety, health, and prevention. You inspire and activate colleagues to truly incorporate safety and the environment into their daily work.
• Supervision, Inspections & Compliance You monitor compliance with legislation and internal standards. You conduct inspections, identify risks early, investigate incidents, and propose solutions and preventive measures.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration You work closely with the management team, operational teams, authorities, and external parties. You manage EHS permits, crisis management, and fire prevention, and advise on investments from an EHS perspective.

Who are you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Experience with change management and getting people on board with change
• Interest in safety & environment is essential; concrete experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation is an advantage
• You are strong at prioritizing and can handle a dynamic environment well with many different topics at the same time.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English
