Our client produces some of the world's biggest primetime television programmes and films for leading global networks and media companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the month-end close process and preparation of management accounts.
  • Manage all intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations, settlements and matrix reporting.
  • Prepare and reconcile cash flow forecasts to ensure efficient accounts receivable management.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and drive periodic reforecasting based on updated business insights.
  • Partner with production teams, operations and creative stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Champion financial transformation initiatives, introducing new tools and ways of working.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT requirements and other tax obligations.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, responding to queries and supporting audit processes.
  • Assist with the incorporation of new entities, the closure of dormant entities and statutory filing requirements.
  • Provide commercial support and undertake a variety of ad hoc finance projects.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 0–2 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical accounting foundation with experience posting journals and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Confident in analysing, presenting and communicating financial information.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to develop industry knowledge within the media and entertainment sector.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across finance, operations and creative teams.
