ServiceNow SAM Pro Consultant
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SAM Pro Consultant with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow implementations, with a strong focus on Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro). The ideal candidate will have delivered end-to-end SAM Pro implementations across SaaS and Non-SaaS environments and should be comfortable working across ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure ServiceNow SAM Pro modules including Entitlements, Licenses, Normalization, Reconciliation, and Reclamation Workflows
- Manage software license compliance across SaaS and Non-SaaS publisher packs including Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, SAP, and Box
- Establish normalized software model structures and licensing frameworks aligned to organizational standards
- Support and develop solutions across ITSM modules — Incident, Request, Problem, Asset, CMDB, and Knowledge Management
- Configure and manage ITAM — Software Asset Management dashboards and reporting
- Work on ITOM — Discovery configurations and integrations
- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Notifications, ACLs, Workflow, and Flow Designer components
- Execute integrations with SCCM, Intune, JAMF, and SOAP/REST-based APIs
- Configure custom SaaS and Non-SaaS publishers within the SAM Pro platform
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support SAM governance and stakeholder visibility
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of overall ServiceNow experience
- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAM Pro implementations (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with SaaS and Non-SaaS license management across major publishers
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow scripting — Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs
- Experience with third-party integrations — SCCM, Intune, JAMF, REST/SOAP APIs
- Proficiency in Flow Designer and Workflow configuration
- Strong understanding of CMDB data models and Discovery
Good to Have
- Experience working with ServiceNow On-Premise platform
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist — SAM (CIS-SAM)
- Exposure to ITOM Visibility or Health modules
Candidate Profile
- Immediate to 30-day notice period preferred
- Open to working from Noida / Pune / Bengaluru
- Budget: ₹12–15 LPA
