Sales Support Executive Job Description
The Sales Support Executive provides operational, administrative, and coordination support to the Sales team to ensure smooth order execution, accurate sales data, timely customer communication, and effective cross‑functional alignment with Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Order Management
- Support the Sales team in processing and tracking sales orders from order entry to delivery
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams on order confirmations, timelines, amendments, and cancellations.
- Ensure accuracy of pricing, discounts, MOQ, delivery windows, and contractual terms in sales orders.
- Maintain and update customer master data, order masters, and seasonal sales files.
Customer & Partner Support
- Act as a point of contact for customers on order status, documentation, and operational queries.
- Support communication related to collections, deliveries, sell‑in schedules, and key milestones.
- Assist in resolving order discrepancies, shortages, or delivery issues in coordination with relevant teams.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Liaise with Logistics and Supply Chain teams to track production, shipments, and deliveries.
- Coordinate with Finance on invoicing, credit notes, payments, and credit limits.
- Support Legal / Commercial teams with contract-related documentation where required.
Reporting & Data Management
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, order trackers, delivery status reports, and seasonal summaries
- Support sales forecasting and budget tracking through accurate data consolidation
Ensure data integrity across internal systems and shared files
