About the Role

Aspire is looking for an experienced Frontend Team Lead to drive the development of scalable, high-performance web applications and lead a talented team of engineers. You will play a key role in shaping frontend architecture, establishing engineering best practices, and delivering intuitive, data-driven user experiences for complex business platforms.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical excellence with mentorship and collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, supporting their technical and professional growth.
  • Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Define and promote frontend architecture standards, coding best practices, and development processes.
  • Build and optimize complex, data-rich dashboards and workflow management platforms.
  • Ensure high standards of application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Contribute to technical strategy, roadmap planning, and architectural decisions across the engineering organization.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and team development initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of frontend engineering experience with strong expertise in React, or senior-level experience with Vue.js or Angular.
  • Strong command of TypeScript, component architecture, and frontend performance optimization.
  • Proven experience building complex, data-rich dashboards or workflow tools.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility requirements.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers or teams.
  • Experience working with design systems and reusable component libraries.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with regulated UI environments.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance.
  • Exposure to modern frontend tooling, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise applications and distributed teams.
