Key requirements
The role asks for:
- 10+ years SAP Finance
- SAP S/4HANA Finance
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
- FI, CO, Asset Accounting, GL, AP, AR
- At least 2 full lifecycle implementations
- Strong finance process knowledge
- Integration with SD, MM, PP, and third-party systems
- CPA or accounting background preferred
- SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, cloud integration tools preferred
- SOX / GAAP understanding preferred
- Must have US work authorization without sponsorship
A strong candidate should have:
SAP FI/CO + S/4HANA Public Cloud + Finance Solution Architecture
This is not a basic SAP FI support role.

Ask the candidate:
- How many years of SAP FI/CO experience do you have?
- Have you worked on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance?
- How many full-cycle SAP Finance implementations have you completed?
- Explain your experience with GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
- Have you led solution design workshops with Finance and IT stakeholders?
- How have you integrated FI/CO with SD, MM, PP, or third-party systems?
- Have you worked with SAP Fiori or SAP Analytics Cloud?
- Do you understand SOX, GAAP, and finance compliance controls?
- Do you have an accounting background or CPA?
- Are you willing to work onsite in Austin, TX if needed?
