About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in AI-enabled automation and enterprise workflow orchestration to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that streamline IT Service Management (ITSM) and lifecycle workflows. Your primary focus will be on automating asset management, lifecycle activities, and integrating AI capabilities to enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable automation patterns, develop end-to-end workflows, and embed AI tools into operational processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence enterprise-wide automation strategies, reduce manual effort, and improve decision-making through intelligent insights and integrations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in automation, integration, or software/platform engineering
  • Proficiency with AI tools including Azure, Claude Code, and OpenAI
  • Experience in simplifying complex operational processes through workflow automation
  • Strong skills in APIs, scripting, and software development using Python and/or JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and automation
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and automation frameworks, preferably Azure
  • Excellent communication skills and systems thinking capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries
  • Passion for automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Automate ITSM and lifecycle workflows, including asset management, end-of-life tracking, refresh orchestration, and compliance monitoring
  • Develop AI skills and automation patterns to model optimal paths for end-of-life work orchestration and completion
  • Create a catalog of repeatable skills for activities such as code-based updates and server/O/S migrations
  • Design and implement automation solutions across incident, problem, and change management workflows
  • Build end-to-end workflows connecting triggers, decision points, and execution to reduce manual effort and cycle time
  • Integrate AI into operational workflows to enhance incident triage, routing, root cause analysis, and lifecycle risk modeling
  • Leverage enterprise AI platforms such as Claude Code, Azure AI/OpenAI, Gemini, and internal AI solutions where applicable
  • Optimize integration of enterprise platforms like ServiceNow, LeanIX, Apptio, and CMDB for seamless data flow and interoperability
  • Develop dashboards and insights for lifecycle risk, incident patterns, root cause trends, and change success/failure rates
  • Enable real-time operational visibility to support better prioritization and faster decision-making
  • Establish scalable automation capabilities that application and technology teams can leverage annually for lifecycle activities
  • Accelerate EOL lifecycle execution through AI-enabled orchestration, simplifying cross-team workflows
  • Create standardized automation patterns and playbooks for logical EOL activities to ensure consistency
  • Develop AI-driven visualization, inventory, and action plans to streamline decision-making and execution
  • Promote rapid adoption of AI tools and skills across ITSM and TLM teams to optimize lifecycle management
  • Enhance enterprise visibility into EOL risks and progress through automated insights and metrics
