Your new role

We’re looking for an AI Developer to design and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions that meaningfully improve how teams across JANA operate.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll build intelligent agents, workflows, and applications using tools like Microsoft Copilot and Claude. You’ll work across the full lifecycle—from identifying opportunities, to building and deploying solutions, through to driving adoption across the business.

This role reports to the Head of AI and works closely with the Tech & Data and Quant teams.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions that streamline workflows and enhance productivity across the firm
• Develop intelligent agents, skills and workflows using Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude Enterprise
• Build agents in Copilot Studio / Azure AI Foundry using M365 and Fabric data
• Design tailored Claude workflows and custom skills to optimise core business processes
• Develop bespoke AI applications where off-the-shelf tools don’t meet requirements
• Analyse existing workflows and reimagine them through an AI lens
• Work closely with Tech & Data to integrate AI solutions with internal systems and data platforms
• Drive AI adoption by running demos, training sessions and upskilling colleagues

About You

Equally challenging and rewarding, this opportunity is perfect for someone with:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience across software development and applied Generative AI.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, and intelligent workflows.
• Strong skills in Python and SQL, combined with a proven ability to leverage AI tools to significantly accelerate code quality and productivity.
• Experience with Copilot Studio, Claude Skills, Claude Code, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Familiarity with data modelling, Microsoft Fabric, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) development.

This role can be based in either our Sydney or Melbourne office.
