Velto Renewables operates a growing portfolio of photovoltaic assets that generate large volumes of operational and technical data. The System & Information Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that enables our Asset Management team to transform raw data into actionable insights for performance optimisation, predictive maintenance, and strategic decision-making, as well as leading the deployment and continuous improvement of the company's digital management too

1. Data Infrastructure & Pipeline Develo
- pmentDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and store data from multiple sources (SCADA, inverters, meteorological stations, sensors, ERP, e
- tc.).Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all asset data str
- eams.Build and maintain data warehouses/lakes optimised for analytical and reporting purp
- oses.Lead the deployment and configuration of the company's new management tool (Lumina), acting as the main point of contact with IT solution providers and ensuring successful integration with existing sys
- tems.Oversee and ensure continuity of the cybersecurity work already initiated, implementing best practices and coordinating with internal and external stakehol
ders.
2. Data Integration & Auto
- mationIntegrate data from third-party O&M providers, monitoring platforms, and internal sy
- stems.Automate data collection, validation, and reporting workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve effic

teams.

Qualifications &
- Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or a rel
- ated field.3–5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role, ideally within the renewable energy, utilities, or industrial
- IoT sector.Strong proficiency in Python or similar programming
- languages.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data storage or database te
- chnologies.Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, o
- r similar).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redsh
- ift, etc.).Familiarity with SCADA systems, time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, etc.), and IoT data streams is highly
- desirable.Experience with API integrations and real-time data processing
- is a plus.Knowledge of renewable energy assets (PV, wind, etc.) and performance metrics (availability, PR, losses, etc.) is a strong
- advantage.Fluency in English; French
