Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern is a full-time, remote role based in Tokyo. This position involves supporting the planning and execution of social media campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with English and Japanese social media content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and compiling performance reports. The intern will help research trends and best practices in digital marketing, and coordinate with internal team members. The role offers hands-on experience with international hospitality marketing and the opportunity to contribute creative ideas to client projects.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation for international audiences.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing to support campaign planning and optimization.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for collaborating with team members and, when needed, external partners.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency in English (business level or above), interest in hospitality or tourism, familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube), and basic analytics skills.
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, International Business) and the ability to work remotely and attend occasional on-site meetings in Tokyo are preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates preffered (English and Japanese)
