Hopi is seeking a versatile and highly-motivated Senior Full-Stack Engineer to power our innovative digital platforms. This is a dynamic role for a developer who is passionate about building robust backend services and creating engaging frontend experiences. You will be instrumental in developing across our entire stack, from high-performance GoLang and Java (Spring Boot) microservices to modern React/Next.js applications. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, has a keen interest in AI technologies, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As a member of our team, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain both backend services (using GoLang, Java, and NestJS) and frontend applications (using React, Next.js).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and mobile developers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Build and manage scalable applications within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), understanding the infrastructure where your code runs.
- Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from analyzing requirements and designing technical solutions to deployment and maintenance.
- Explore and integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) services to enhance our products and features.
- Write secure, performant, and scalable code, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record in both backend and frontend technologies.
- Strong proficiency in backend development with Golang, Java (Spring Boot), and/or Node.js (NestJS).
- Significant hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React and Next.js.
- Familiarity with JHipster or similar application generators/microservices frameworks is a plus (but not a must, as long as you have strong Java/Spring and React skills).
- Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services (e.g., Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI services/APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
