This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of business, accurate documentation, and adherence to underwriting, KYC and service standards. It supports the timely delivery of quotes and policies, while maintaining strong data quality and operational control.
Primary Responsibilities:
Quote & Policy Administration
- Assist Underwriting with the processing of quotations, policy documentation, endorsements, and renewals across Cayman business
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and issued within agreed service standards inclusive of KYC.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all broker and client-facing outputs
Broker, Client & Internal Support
- Act as a point of contact for brokers, partners, and internal teams on administrative queries
- Support timely responses to requests for documentation and information
- Follow up on outstanding items required to progress quotes and bind business and issuance of policy documents
Data Management & System Accuracy
- Ensure all risk, policy, and client data is accurately recorded in core systems (e.g. PURE)
- Maintain high standards of data quality to support underwriting, actuarial, and reinsurance reporting
- Assist with data validation, cleansing, and system updates as required
Underwriting Process Support
- Support underwriters and BD resources by preparing files and organising submissions
- Ensure required documentation is obtained and recorded (e.g. valuations, surveys, proposal forms, KYC)
- Assist in maintaining adherence to underwriting processes and internal controls
Renewals & Pipeline Coordination
- Assist with renewal preparation, including data updates and documentation readiness
- Track outstanding requirements and support the progression of business through the pipeline
- Help maintain visibility of workload and priorities across the team
Compliance & Documentation Standards
- Ensure files are complete and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Support KYC and onboarding documentation requirements
- Maintain organised, auditable records in line with compliance expectations
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide general administrative support across the Cayman underwriting function
- Assist with reporting, document preparation, and operational tasks
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery
Skills, Experience & Attributes:
- Experience in insurance administration or underwriting support preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Strong communication skills across brokers, clients, and internal teams
- Comfortable working with policy administration systems and data
- Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented
