The brand has built a loyal following through its connection to Caribbean culture, music, entertainment and nightlife, and today has a presence across multiple markets throughout the region.

As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Social Media Manager to lead the brand's social media presence, oversee influencer and ambassador programmes, and ensure Rude Boy remains relevant, engaging and consistent across all digital platforms.

The Role

The Social Media Manager will lead Rude Boy's global social media presence and influencer marketing programmes, ensuring the brand remains culturally relevant, engaging and consistent across all markets.

This role is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, overseeing content planning and production, managing influencer and ambassador partnerships, and driving audience growth across Rude Boy's digital platforms.

The successful candidate will manage Rude Boy's global social channels while providing leadership, guidance and support to social media managers across individual markets. They will ensure content aligns with brand standards, campaigns are executed effectively, communities are actively managed and performance is continuously monitored and optimised.

We're looking for someone who understands digital culture, can spot opportunities before they become trends, and knows how to turn ideas into content that drives engagement and strengthens brand affinity. This role requires a balance of creativity, organisation and leadership, with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and markets simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

· Develop and execute Rude Boy's global social media strategy.

· Manage the day-to-day operation of Rude Boy's global social media channels.

· Create and maintain content calendars aligned with brand objectives and campaigns.

· Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for growth and engagement.

· Stay current on social media trends, platform updates and emerging opportunities.

· Work closely with internal teams to ensure social media supports wider business objectives.

Team Management & Delivery Oversight

  • Manage and oversee the performance of all assigned island social media managers to ensure smooth day-to-day execution.
  • Track deadlines and deliverables to ensure all schedules, campaigns and planned activities are executed on time.
  • Monitor workflow to identify and address potential gaps, delays, or missed deliverables before they impact execution.
  • Ensure alignment across content, campaigns, and key marketing initiatives to maintain consistency and timely delivery.
  • Provide ongoing support, coordination and follow-up with team members to ensure expectations and timelines are met.

Content Planning & Management

· Lead content ideation and campaign development from concept through execution.

· Develop content briefs and coordinate the creation of digital content.

· Manage content production timelines and approvals.

  • Ensure on-the-ground brand activities are effectively promoted across platforms.

· Maintain a central content library and ensure assets are organised and accessible.

· Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.

· Coordinate content requirements across markets and campaigns.

Influencer & Ambassador Management

· Develop and manage Rude Boy's influencer and ambassador programmes.

· Negotiate partnership agreements and deliverables.

· Coordinate product seeding and campaign execution.

· Manage global ambassador relationships and communication.

· Track campaign deliverables and performance.

· Measure and report on influencer campaign effectiveness.

· Market Oversight & Team Management

Community Management

· Oversee community management for Rude Boy's global social channels.

· Monitor social media activity across all markets and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Review and approve content plans where required.

· Provide leadership and guidance to social media managers across individual markets.

· Support local teams with campaign planning and execution.

· Monitor brand sentiment and identify potential issues or opportunities.

· Manage and escalate customer service issues where necessary.

· Establish community management standards and best practices across all markets.

· Ensure market teams are following brand guidelines and content standards.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

· Monitor and analyse social media performance across all platforms.

· Produce regular performance reports and recommendations.

· Track campaign effectiveness and audience growth.

· Evaluate influencer programme performance.

· Use data and insights to optimise future content and campaigns.

Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing or content marketing.

· Experience managing multiple social media platforms for consumer brands.

· Proven experience developing and executing successful social media campaigns.

· Experience managing influencers, creators and ambassador programmes.

· Strong content planning and project management skills.

· Excellent copywriting and communication skills.

· Experience with content creation tools and basic photo/video editing.

· Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

· Strong understanding of digital culture, trends and online communities.

Preferred

· Experience working with beverage, FMCG, lifestyle or entertainment brands.

· Experience working across multiple markets.

· Experience managing social media teams or regional social media programmes.
