American Baitworks is seeking a creative, energetic, and results-driven TikTok Specialist to lead the growth and performance of our TikTok presence, including TikTok Shop and TikTok Live. This is an onsite role located in Ocean Springs, MS.

This role is responsible for creating engaging content, building brand awareness, driving e-commerce sales, and fostering an active online community. The ideal candidate is highly creative, comfortable on camera, knowledgeable about TikTok trends, and skilled at turning audience engagement into measurable sales results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation & Social Media Management

  • Create, film, edit, and publish engaging TikTok content on a daily basis.
  • Develop content strategies that align with brand objectives, product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Monitor TikTok trends, sounds, hashtags, and platform updates to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain monthly content calendars and live-stream schedules.
  • Track competitor activity and emerging industry trends to identify content opportunities.

TikTok Shop Management

  • Manage and maintain TikTok Shop, ensuring product listings, descriptions, pricing, inventory, and promotions are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor shop performance and identify opportunities to increase conversions and sales.
  • Recruit and manage TikTok Shop affiliates to expand product reach and revenue.
  • Coordinate influencer partnerships and affiliate marketing opportunities.

TikTok Live Hosting & Sales

  • Host TikTok Live shopping events approximately 4–5 hours per day.
  • Demonstrate products during live streams and answer customer questions in real time.
  • Engage viewers through interactive presentations that drive sales and increase brand loyalty.
  • Maintain a professional, energetic on-camera presence that reflects company values and brand identity.

Community Engagement & Analytics

  • Build and engage an online community by responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries.
  • Monitor audience engagement and develop strategies to increase followers and customer interaction.
  • Track and analyze content performance, TikTok Shop metrics, live-stream results, and sales data.
  • Prepare regular reports on follower growth, engagement, conversion rates, and revenue generated through TikTok activities.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on analytics and platform performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of TikTok platform features, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent video filming, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and hosting live presentations.
  • Strong communication and customer engagement abilities.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, e-commerce, influencer marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience managing TikTok accounts, TikTok Shop, and live-stream selling activities preferred.
  • Knowledge of fishing, fishing tackle, or the outdoor recreation industry is a plus.
  • Experience filming and editing content using an iPhone and mobile editing applications.
  • Previous experience with influencer partnerships, affiliate marketing, or social commerce platforms.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during live-stream sessions.
  • Ability to lift and handle product samples and marketing materials as needed.
  • Combination of sitting and standing throughout the workday.
