Role Purpose: The Digital Learning Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline and Rise, alongside blended learning solutions, that support staff capability, learning and development, compliance, and wider organisational priorities.
Reporting into the Learning Manager, this role will work closely with subject matter experts and managers across the global organisation to translate learning needs into practical, engaging and accessible content.
The postholder will play an important role in strengthening Concern’s digital learning offer and helping to ensure that learning is relevant, inclusive, accessible and aligned with organisational priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain engaging e-learning modules and digital learning resources using Articulate Storyline and Rise.
- Translate technical subject matter into user-friendly learning content aligned with adult learning principles.
- Develop accessible blended learning solutions, including e-learning, live virtual sessions, self-directed resources, videos, guides, and facilitator toolkits.
- Adapt and design face-to-face training content for effective digital and hybrid delivery.
- Guide internal facilitators and regional focal points in the use of learning materials and digital resources.
- Work with the Learning Manager to identify digital learning needs and translate these into structured learning objectives, content outlines and learning pathways.
- Advise subject matter experts to review content, select appropriate learning methods and design learning materials.
- Upload, organise, test and maintain content on the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is accessible, inclusive and aligned with organisational strategic priorities.
- Monitor completion data, learner feedback and course usage to support continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot basic learner and content issues, escalating technical problems where required.
- Accept, advance and pursue any new objectives or responsibilities that may be assigned by the Learning Manager.

- All staff are required to participate and contribute as necessary towards Concern’s emergency response as and when required.
Role Holder Requirements:
- Experience designing and developing digital learning or e-learning content or digital learning content
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and low-bandwidth learning design.
- Experience of working with a Learning Management System (LMS) and Articulate Storyline/Rise
- Experience working with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear and effective learning content.
- Experience working with culturally diverse audiences.
- Previous INGO experience is desirable.
- Exposure to use of AI tools in content design would be desirable
