Mission Statement
As a Global Key Account Manager for Growth Business, you will be responsible for one of the largest accounts within ABB Robotics. You will drive strategic expansion of the account by identifying new business opportunities, accelerating new technology adoption, and enabling scalable deployment across global manufacturing sites.
You will lead the customer engagement, new pilot case identification, and coordination with internal resources to fulfil customer’s project demands. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership capability to deliver high-growth results in a dynamic global environment.
Main Accountabilities
- Define and execute account growth strategy aligned with new product introduction and emerging application opportunities
- Define a technology roadmap / adaptive operational working model that directly meets an operational demand or potential solution.
- Lead customer events for active brand relevance and premium positioning within the customer ecosystem.
- Identify and develop new opportunities through technology differentiation and solution innovation
- Build strong relationships with global stakeholders and decision makers
- Driving and speed up the deployment the innovative offering from portfolio wise, leading the adaptive working model to be coined partner with key stakeholders (cross countries and system engineering team).
- Co-work with system engineering team as to maintain the competitiveness in terms of operational efficiency, engineering capacity as well as commercial balancing with tech driving offerings.
- Co-work with country specific local sales as to sync the key account strategy for close-loop execution.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
- EMS or CM working background is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of electronics build phase (Proto, EVT, DTV, PVT, MP) as well as basic manufacturing concepts (BOM, Config, FA, EFFA…)
- Strong commercial management skills with ability to drive execution and manage risks
- Strong execution and self-motivated capability with proven track record.
- Proven experience in new technology introduction and scaling from pilot to mass production
- Strong commercial awareness with ability to align technical solutions to business value
- Experience in cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration
- Strategic thinking combined with strong innovation landing capability
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments
- Customer-centric mindset with strong ownership of results
- 10% ~ 20% international travel required
- Bilingual capability (Chinese & English) preferred
