Our internship

A great internship in which you will learn to further develop your organizational skills.

What can you expect?

As a Trader intern, you will go through the same induction process as our Trader employees. The goal is to teach you as much as possible.

During your internship you will be working in a highly commercial, dynamic and multilingual environment. Together with the Senior Trader you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of customers and suppliers of West Coast Supply Group as well as identifying and acquiring new business.

In addition, you keep track on offers, manage relationships with customers and suppliers as well as negotiate prices, payments and delivery terms.

Our conditions

• You must be enrolled at a Dutch educational institution for the entire duration of the placement
• Your maximum journey time to our office in Leiden or Hoofddorp is 60 minutes door-to-door

Our offer to you

• Your starting date is between July and September
• Your internship is for 5–6 months and 32–40 hours per week
• Your place of work will be Leiden or Hoofddorp
• You receive an internship compensation
• If you do not have a student travel card, your travel costs for commuting will be reimbursed
