Our Digital Solutions Team provides the digital solutions and IT services that support Innosuisse’s business processes and enable the digital handling of applications and related procedures. This includes internal solutions as well as digital platforms and tools used by applicants, innovation mentors, accredited coaches, experts, project partners and other external stakeholders to submit, process, assess and manage funding and support requests.

About the Role

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (m/w/d) 80-100%. In this technically and strategically important role as an Azure Cloud Solution Architect, you will develop robust, secure and cost-effective cloud solutions. In doing so, you will make a direct contribution to improving the efficiency, reliability and standardisation of Innosuisse’s digital services for the submission, processing, assessment and management of funding and support applications. You will design and implement cloud-based solutions that support Innosuisse’s internal business processes as well as the digital procedures used by external stakeholders involved in these processes. You will work in a constantly evolving environment and help build a new, future-oriented team for cloud and digital solutions at Innosuisse.

Responsibilities

• Designing cloud solution architectures on Azure to meet specific business and technical requirements.
• Implementing cloud and platform solutions (automation, workflows, IaC templates, self-service tools, no-code/low-code apps).
• Ensuring lifecycle management and the ongoing development of existing cloud solutions, including cost control.
• Overseeing monitoring, logging, stability, and security of cloud solutions in production.
• Supporting operations and coordinating changes, migrations, and complex technical issues.
• Contributing to the growth and development of our team through your technical expertise.

Qualifications

You have completed a degree in computer science or business informatics (bachelor’s or master’s) and have several years of practical experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions, ideally on Microsoft Azure.

Additional training or certifications in cloud architecture, such as Azure Solutions Architect, are a plus.

Required Skills

• You bring a solid understanding of cloud architectures on Azure and are particularly knowledgeable in the areas of identity and access management, network concepts, and security architectures, as well as PaaS services and integration solutions.
• IaC, automation, monitoring, logging, and cost optimisation are also second nature to you.
• You analyse requirements in a structured manner and develop scalable, secure and sustainable solutions based on them.
• Initial experience with no-code/low-code platforms is a plus.
• In your work, you are independent, structured, and responsible.
• You possess strong analytical skills and implement solutions in a goal-oriented manner.
• At the same time, you are able to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Strategic and networked thinking, as well as a strong awareness of data protection and information security, round out your profile.
• You communicate confidently in German (C1) and have good English skills in a technical context.
