Global Launch Manager (m/f/x)
What You Can Expect
- You take full end-to-end ownership of global launch projects, ensuring that products are available in the right markets at the right time - coordinating all functions from technical readiness through to the handover to local marketing.
- As the central point of coordination between global functions and regional teams, you steer cross-functional launch teams and keep all workstreams on track toward key readiness milestones.
- Proactively identifying risks, resolving bottlenecks, and escalating critical issues to management are central to how you operate.
- You own and maintain portfolio and launch reporting tools, creating full transparency on project status, timelines, and readiness across all assigned launches.
- Facilitating regular review meetings, you provide structured updates to top management and ensure that decisions are made at the right time with the right information.
- Following the handover to local marketing, you lead a structured post-launch evaluation to capture key learnings and feed them back into future launch planning.
- Continuously improving launch processes, templates, and governance frameworks is part of your remit - making each launch faster, smoother, and more scalable than the last.
What You Bring
- A university degree in business, life sciences, pharma, engineering, or a related discipline forms the foundation of your expertise.
- More than 10 years of professional experience are in your toolkit, including at least 5 years in pharmaceutical project or launch management with proven end-to-end responsibility in complex matrix organizations.
- A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain — particularly the steps that determine whether a product is technically and commercially ready for market — is essential.
- You have successfully steered multi-country product launches through complex, cross-functional environments and know how to keep diverse teams aligned and on schedule.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking allow you to manage competing priorities, anticipate risks, and provide clear decision support to senior stakeholders.
- Exposure to portfolio management, PMO frameworks, or commercial operations is a strong plus — experience in BD & Licensing or Alliance Management is equally welcome.
- Fluent business English enables you to communicate clearly and confidently across an international matrix organization.
