As we continue to grow, we're seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to join our finance team and provide valuable financial insights that support operational and strategic outcomes.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers broad exposure across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering.

You'll work closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders across the business, helping translate financial information into meaningful insights that support performance, profitability, and growth initiatives.

This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly management reports, highlighting key trends and business performance drivers
  • Assist with annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial planning activities
  • Monitor business performance against budgets and provide variance analysis and recommendations
  • Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management initiatives
  • Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations, and management reporting packs
  • Contribute to financial modelling, profitability analysis, and ad hoc commercial projects
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights that support decision-making
  • Assist with statutory reporting, audit requirements, and compliance obligations
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, and system efficiencies
  • Provide support across broader finance functions as required

About You

  • CA or CPA qualified (or currently progressing towards completion)
  • Demonstrated experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or commercial finance roles
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial performance analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across different levels of the business
  • Proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience within recruitment, labour hire, staffing, or other service-based industries will be advantageous
