Initially focused more on non-food retail in Turkey, over recent years Tchibo Turkey has emphasized its coffee heritage and expertise in its local offering.

We’re looking for a Senior Purchasing Specialist to join our growing organization.

Job Description

• Executing indirect material and service procurement processes in line with Tchibo Purchasing Guidelines

• Collecting department requirements, conducting supplier research and selection activities together with business stakeholders, and coordinating internal and/or Tchibo GmbH approval processes

• Conducting supplier negotiations to achieve competitive commercial terms and ensure business needs are met

• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and contributing to efficiency and profitability targets

• Ensuring purchasing documentation, contracts, and approvals are completed accurately and in line with company procedures

• Preparing tender documents and coordinating tender processes from initiation to completion

• Supporting supplier evaluation activities and contributing to supplier performance improvement initiatives

• Supporting internal and external audit processes related to purchasing activities

• Coordinating contract review and negotiation processes with suppliers and relevant internal stakeholders

• Collaborating with legal consultants regarding service agreements and contractual requirements

• Supporting purchasing budget planning, expenditure tracking, and reporting activities

• Preparing regular and ad hoc purchasing reports, analyses, and presentations

• Monitoring market trends, supplier developments, and industry best practices to support procurement effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferably Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related disciplines)

• Minimum 4-5 years of indirect purchasing experience, preferably within Retail and/or FMCG sectors

• Experience in procurement processes, supplier negotiations, contract management, and tender operations

• Familiarity with international sourcing and supplier management practices

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• SAP MM knowledge is an asset

• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities

• Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational skills
