For our client, we are seeking a Senior IT Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $109,500 – $152,100 annually
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support to employees via a support queue as the primary contact for IT operations
- Implement a comprehensive asset management program covering various IT assets including cloud and IoT
- Conduct periodic inventory reconciliations to ensure accurate asset tracking using discovery tools
- Manage the software license lifecycle, including tracking and renewals
- Deploy and maintain endpoint management solutions, focusing on macOS and Jamf
- Support core SaaS platforms such as Okta and Salesforce
- Assist with onboarding applications for new hires and contractors
- Document IT Support policies, including scope and escalation procedures
- Map job functions and access privileges to control responsibilities and document accordingly
- Write scripts and build automation in Python or TypeScript to optimize IT processes
- Collaborate with software engineers for continuous improvement and systems upgrades
Qualifications
- 4+ years of IT operations experience, preferably in fast-paced tech startups with a focus on fintech or compliance-related fields
- Understanding of IT internal controls, access management, and audit requirements
- Proficiency in macOS with knowledge of Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android
- Hands-on experience with Jamf or comparable MDM platforms
- Experience managing diverse asset inventories beyond endpoints, including SaaS and virtual infrastructure
- Familiarity with IAM concepts and major cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript programming preferred
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks like NIST or ISO
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in dynamic environments
