What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Identify, evaluate, and assess cybersecurity risks affecting the employer's systems and technology
- Conduct formal risk assessments and develop cybersecurity risk controls and mitigation plans
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders and leadership to maintain internal systems risk areas
- Review and analyze configuration reports to assess risks and gaps in departmental initiatives
- Assist with Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) testing and documentation
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in a compositional, technical, or security field preferred
- Minimum of 4 years' work experience in systems administration, cybersecurity, GRC, or Risk
- Demonstrable knowledge of analyzing threats and vulnerabilities for inherent and residual risk
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as GLBA and FFIEC
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Word)
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Security certifications such as Sec+, CySA+, CISSP, or CEH preferred
- Experience with risk management platforms like Optro, AuditBoard, or Archer
- Previous experience in the banking industry
