⚙️ Our Product

📋 Role Overview

As a Frontend DevOps Engineer, you'll develop and operate the frontend web application used by both our customers and internal operators for the IoT-DRS platform. Working closely with backend and IoT device engineers, you'll drive new feature development, maintain existing code, and take ownership of AWS cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Build frontend UIs using HTML / JavaScript / CSS
• Develop and maintain energy visualization dashboards and admin consoles
• Integrate with backend APIs (Python/Go) and implement data pipelines
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform; set up CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend and IoT engineers
• Work with the SvelteKit full-stack framework (already in use / planned)

✅ Requirements (1+ year each)

• Frontend engineering experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Full-stack web application development experience, including backend APIs
• Experience building and operating AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, and meetings) — English is our internal lingua franca in this multinational team

• Backend development experience / database design and query experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with the SvelteKit full-stack framework
• Conversational-level Japanese

📍 Work Conditions

• Location: SN Building 9F, Kaigan 1-4-22, Minato-ku, Tokyo (relocation within Tokyo planned in the near future)
• Remote work: Up to 1 day/week (subject to manager approval and business needs)
• Hours: Flextime with core hours 10:00–16:00 (standard 8-hour workday)
• Holidays: Full two-day weekends (Sat/Sun), public holidays, paid leave (more PTO is allocated in lieu of fixed summer/year-end holidays, given our multinational team's varying cultural holiday needs)

■ 仕事内容

GreenphardのIoT Demand Response System（IoT-DRS）において、顧客および社内オペレーターが使用するフロントエンドWebアプリケーションの開発・運用をご担当いただきます。バックエンドエンジニア・IoTデバイスエンジニアと連携しながら、新機能の追加や既存コードの保守を行っていただきます。また、AWSクラウドインフラのデプロイ・保守にも責任を持っていただきます。
