Role Overview
The DevSecOps Engineer at Inception is responsible for embedding security across the software development lifecycle, ensuring that AI products are built, deployed, and operated in a secure, scalable, and compliant manner.
This role is a full-time position based in India (remote).
Key Responsibilities
• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and the overall DevOps lifecycle
• Design and implement secure, automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
• Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities across systems and applications
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistent and secure deployments
• Develop automation tools and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Monitor systems, logs, and security events to detect and respond to threats
• Conduct security testing, audits, and vulnerability assessments
• Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce secure coding and deployment practices
• Drive adoption of a security-first mindset across engineering and operations
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Strong experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or cybersecurity roles
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with security tools, monitoring systems, and IaC tools
