We're partnered with a family-owned General Contractor with over 50 years of success in the Chicagoland market that is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their growing team.

This company has built a strong reputation through decades of delivering quality projects, maintaining strong client relationships, and creating a culture where employees can grow their careers long-term. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are looking to bring on an Assistant Project Manager who wants to take ownership and become a key part of the team.

Their project portfolio is focused primarily on commercial projects including both ground-up and interior/exterior renovations such as interior buildouts, multi-tenant buildings, retail/restaurants, and other commercial developments throughout the Chicagoland area.

With project values typically reaching up to $5M, this is an opportunity where Assistant Project Managers have the ability to gain much more exposure to the overall business, take ownership of projects, and work closely with leadership rather than being siloed on one small piece of a larger operation.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support Project Managers throughout the full project lifecycle
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and project coordination
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and field teams
• Support estimating and preconstruction efforts
• Gain hands-on exposure to project management, operations, and business growth

What They're Looking For:

• Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer experience with a General Contractor
• Some estimating experience preferred
• Commercial construction experience required
• Interiors/project buildout experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and desire to grow within a company

Compensation & Benefits:
