We're scaling our business across multiple verticals - and we're looking for a Growth Lead to own the engine that brings new business in and converts it.
The role in one line
You own how Clevertize finds, pitches, and wins new clients - running outreach and inbound, shaping GTM for our different verticals, and carrying pitches from first conversation to onboarding.
What you'll own
Pipeline & outreach
- Run all outbound and inbound campaigns end to end, building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified leads.
- Shape and execute GTM plays for Clevertize's different verticals - tailoring the approach, message and targeting to each.
- Monitor emailer campaigns: track performance, flag what's working, and push for better conversion over time.
Pitching & conversion
- Own pitches from brief to deck to presentation - and run several in parallel without dropping quality.
- Build proposals and scopes that are clear, persuasive, and tied to client business outcomes.
- Convert prospective leads into clients, owning the relationship from first touch to signed engagement.
Strategy & growth
- Work with the founding team to plan near-term business strategy and prioritise where to push next.
- Spot new opportunities, experiments and growth plays, and bring them to the table proactively.
- Work with the SEO, PR, Website teams to ensure it all aligns with the business growth goals.
What you bring
Must-haves
- 2–5 years of business development at an agency, with a track record of building pipeline and converting leads into clients.
- Must be great with selling something by truly understanding how we will help the brand win
- Hands-on experience running outreach campaigns (outbound and inbound) and owning the numbers behind them.
- Direct experience leading or co-leading pitches and writing proposals.
- Ability to juggle multiple pitches and priorities at once without losing the thread.
- Sharp written and verbal communication — you can tell a persuasive story to a prospective client.
- Comfort with the modern growth/BD stack (CRM, outreach tools, basic SEO and email campaign metrics).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience shaping GTM for more than one vertical or service line.
- Working knowledge of SEO and how inbound discovery actually moves.
- Familiarity with outreach automation and CRM tooling (Apollo, Saleshandy, or similar).
- A genuine interest in understanding a client's business before pitching them.
