Embrace Excellence
The purpose of this role is to provide process engineering support within Edrington’s engineering department and wider Global Supply Chain (GSC). The primary duties are focussed on FEED, process safety and data analysis, working collaboratively with internal customers and project teams to deliver results against requirements.
The role covers all Edrington’s UK sites, from malting and distillation, to blending and bottling, and a key aspect is to promote the consistent application of best practice in line with legal requirements and internal standards.

Your Talent And Skills
To be successful in this role, you will have an accredited Chemical Engineering or related degree, alongside proven experience in process design, engineering, and project management. You will ideally be a member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in developing P&IDs and other engineering drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD. A sound understanding of HAZOP methodology is essential, with a willingness to facilitate or lead reviews in the future. You will be confident using a range of software tools, including the MS Office Suite and Power BI, and possess strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are key, with the ability to share ideas clearly and concisely while working collaboratively within a team. A high level of attention to detail is required, and you should be comfortable travelling across Edrington’s UK sites as part of the role.
