We are looking for a Network Asistant Manager to take part in managing our network infrastructure, which is critical to ensuring uninterrupted, secure, and high-performance airport operations. In this role, the key expectations include the proactive management of 24/7 high-availability and resilient network environments, preparing the team for the future, and enabling the implementation of next-generation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end management of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, VoIP, firewall, load balancer, and data center network infrastructures across the airport.
- Guarantee 24/7 continuity, high availability, and compliance with defined SLAs for business-critical services.
- Analyze daily incident and request records, perform root cause analyses, and implement proactive/preventive actions.
- Manage network monitoring, performance analysis, and capacity planning processes; identify bottlenecks and potential risks before they occur.
- Ensure the effective use of AI/ML and automation-based monitoring, alarm correlation, and predictive maintenance approaches in network operations.
- Take an active role in the design, deployment, integration, and operation of private 5G network infrastructure to support airport operations.
- Plan and lead the integration of emerging technologies such as IoT, autonomous systems, smart terminal applications, and operational digitalization into the network infrastructure.
- Develop, regularly test, and continuously improve action plans for potential outages, cybersecurity incidents, and crisis scenarios.
- Ensure that Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) scenarios are always ready and regularly tested for network infrastructure.
- Establish, implement, and audit network security policies.
- Ensure compliance with regulations such as ISO 27001, KVKK, GDPR, and similar frameworks; coordinate timely closure of audit findings.
- Manage external vendors and service providers (ISPs, system integrators, mobile operators, etc.) in line with SLAs and monitor their performance.
- Provide technical and operational leadership to the network operations team; mentor and coach team members to prepare them for future technologies.
- Foster a team culture that promotes knowledge sharing, standardization, and continuous improvement.,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field,
- Experience in network management within corporate environments, preferably in critical infrastructure or 24/7 operational settings,
- Strong knowledge of high availability, network resiliency, SLA management, and ITSM processes,
- Experience in network monitoring, automation, AI-driven operations, and next-generation network technologies (preferably 5G / Private 5G), or willingness to develop in these areas,
- Strategic mindset with the ability to lead change and technological transformation,
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and crisis management skills,
- Competence in team management, mentoring, and stakeholder communication.
