Title: Telemarketer

Location: Our office is located in Dublin 2 and the role will be in the office full-time.

Terms: 12-month Fixed Term Contract / GB2 (€27,342 - €30,380)

Reports to: You will report to the Telemarketing Manager and Team Leader and work closely with colleagues in the Direct Marketing Executives, Donor Care team, and Fundraising Systems Team and wider Concern teams.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Total Hours: 35 hours per week.

Work Environment: This role requires being in the office full-time.

The job:

This role involves supporting the Public Affairs Department on different projects, by contacting donors in relation to cash/regular giving donations and non-financial support

If you join us, this is what you will be doing:

  • To complete Telemarketing campaigns and reach key performance indicators
  • General Campaign Tasks:
  • Contacting existing donors or prospects by telephone as part of a Marketing Campaign.
  • To ensure that all calls made are in line with the procedures of Concern
  • To achieve productivity and ensure key performance indicators are met.
  • To ensure accurate and complete information is captured in CRM systems.
  • Attend campaign briefing and training and participate actively within the training environment.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with donors
  • Undertake specific tasks and projects as directed by the Telemarketing Project Manager.

Essential:

  • English fluency
  • Some fundraising experience
  • Min 6-12 months telesales & customer service experience preferably in a contact centre or telesales role.
  • Previous experience of working to and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and a desire to develop in the role by engaging in training and accepting feedback and supervision from management.
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • Good IT skills with knowledge of MS Office, in-house databases, the Internet and able to analyse information.
  • Friendly and professional telephone manner.

Desirable:

  • Interest/Experience in international development.
