United Global Ro-Ro (UGR) is looking for an experienced and technology-driven Information Technology & Digital Transformation Executive to join our Operational Excellence & Digital Transformation Directorate.
This role will support the management of the company's corporate IT operations and maritime ERP ecosystem while contributing to digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with business units, technology partners, and internal stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency, system integration, cybersecurity, data management, and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration and continuous improvement of the company's ERP ecosystem and related business applications.
- Coordinate system integrations, EDI processes, APIs, and data exchange with customers, terminals, and external platforms.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, process automation projects, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Develop reports and dashboards using SQL, Power BI, and related analytics tools.
- Support the operation of IT infrastructure, cloud services, Microsoft 365, and end-user technologies.
- Assist in maintaining information security, cybersecurity, business continuity, and disaster recovery processes.
- Coordinate IT projects, vendors, service providers, and technical documentation activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, MIS, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems, business applications, and system integration projects.
- Knowledge of SQL, databases, reporting, and data analytics tools.
- Familiarity with APIs, EDI, REST/SOAP services, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Understanding of information security, cybersecurity, and business continuity concepts.
- Familiarity with project management and IT service management methodologies.
- Advanced English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the maritime, shipping, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Knowledge of maritime ERP solutions and EDI standards.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, COBIT, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, CISSP, CISM, Azure, or AWS.
