Job Description:
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on HR resource to leaders and employees across multiple business functions. This individual will support employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent initiatives, organizational development, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional who can quickly build credibility, influence decision-making, and effectively balance strategic and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders and people managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Lead year-end talent processes, including performance evaluations, goal-setting activities, talent reviews, and calibration discussions.
- Support employee engagement initiatives by analyzing feedback, identifying trends, and partnering with leaders on action plans.
- Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Coach leaders through performance concerns, disciplinary actions, documentation, and employee development discussions.
- Collaborate with compensation and total rewards teams on promotions, job evaluations, compensation recommendations, and organizational changes.
- Assist managers with creating and updating job descriptions and organizational structures.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and Leave Administration to support employee lifecycle activities.
- Utilize Workday to manage employee transactions, reporting, analytics, and HR processes.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee communications while serving as a trusted resource for policy and procedure questions.
- Drive change management, culture initiatives, and organizational development efforts that support business growth and employee engagement.
- Build strong partnerships with leaders and employees across a large, geographically dispersed workforce.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive Human Resources experience; candidates with 10+ years are encouraged to apply.
- Experience supporting commercial, sales, or revenue-generating business units is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday is required.
- Background serving as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Manager, HR Consultant, or HR Director supporting large employee populations.
- Proven employee relations experience, including investigations, coaching, corrective action, and performance management.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.

- Must be available to work within Central or Eastern Time Zones.
- Experience supporting organizations with 1,000+ employees is highly preferred.
- Exposure to workforce planning, talent management, and organizational change initiatives is strongly desired.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving business needs.
