The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is responsible for leading all revenue-generating activities across the suite of operating companies and developing the commercial strategy necessary to accelerate growth. The CCO will lead business development, strategic account management, marketing, sales operations, and commercial partnerships while serving as a key member of the executive leadership team.
The CCO will build and scale a world-class commercial organization focused on expanding relationships with airlines, business aviation operators, government agencies, defense contractors, MRO providers, OEMs, and aerospace aftermarket participants. This leader will partner closely with the Group President and OpCo Leaders to drive organic growth, improve commercial execution, expand market share, and identify strategic opportunities that increase enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy
- Develop and execute the group’s commercial growth strategy.
- Identify new market opportunities across commercial aviation, business aviation, military, government, and aerospace aftermarket sectors.
- Develop strategic account plans for key customers.
- Build long-term relationships with senior executives throughout the aerospace ecosystem.
Revenue Growth
- Achieve annual revenue growth objectives.
- Expand wallet share within existing accounts.
- Develop new customer acquisition strategies.
- Increase annual recurring revenue opportunities.
Sales Leadership
- Build and develop a high-performing commercial organization.
- Implement sales funnel management and forecasting disciplines.
- Establish KPIs and accountability systems.
- Coach and develop sales leaders.
Strategic Partnerships
- Develop relationships with OEMs, airlines, defense contractors, brokers, lessors, and industry partners.
- Evaluate strategic alliances and channel partnerships.
- Support M&A integration and growth initiatives when applicable.
Executive Leadership
- Participate in strategic planning and Coltala Enterprise System (CES) events
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights.
- Collaborate with Corporate and Operating Company leadership.
Experience Requirements
Required:
- 15+ years of aerospace commercial leadership experience.
- Significant experience within MRO, aerospace aftermarket services, aircraft component repair, engineering services, distribution, brokerage, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success growing revenue in complex B2B environments.
- Experience leading sales teams and commercial organizations.
- Strong network within commercial aviation and aerospace aftermarket industries.
Preferred:
- Executive leadership experience within a private equity-backed business.
- Experience scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth.
- Existing relationships with airlines, business aviation operators, defense contractors, and government agencies.
- Experience supporting M&A-driven growth initiatives.
