Role Overview

Are you a visionary executive leader with an elite track record in the Facilities Management (FM) sector? Our client, a prominent leader in the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) sector, is seeking a high-caliber Vice President of Business Development to spearhead our commercial growth and market dominance. In this executive-level role, you will hold ultimate accountability for market expansion, securing multi-million-dollar contracts, and leading our regional BD division. Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute comprehensive business development strategies to accelerate regional FM growth, revenue, and market expansion.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure lucrative new business opportunities, major client acquisitions, and enterprise-level partnerships.
  • Oversee complex, high-value tender submissions, multi-million dollar contract negotiations, and commercial proposals.
  • Build enduring relationships with C-suite stakeholders and establish strategic joint ventures to expand geographic reach.
  • Continuously analyze shifting macroeconomic trends and competitor activities to pinpoint untapped growth areas.
  • Partner with internal operations teams to ensure service delivery matches client expectations for maximum retention.
  • Champion the upskilling of the business development team on sophisticated sales strategies and structured deal closure.
  • Report performance, long-term targets, and critical FM growth metrics directly to Senior Management and the Board.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related fields. An MBA or CFM certification is highly advantageous.
  • 10–15 years of robust sales leadership and business development experience, with a proven track record operating at a leadership level.
  • Direct background in securing large-scale public or private sector FM contracts. Deep experience with CFME Tier-1 or Tier-2 organizations is highly preferred.
  • Verifiable history of delivering aggressive revenue targets, building high performing BD divisions, and executing corporate alliances.
  • An established, highly influential professional network within the FM industry and various government bodies.
