Accounting Lead / Staff Accountant (Direct Hire)
📍 Location: Corona, CA (Primarily Remote - 2 Days Onsite/Month, Subject to Change)
💰 Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
🕒 Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Opportunity
We're seeking a detail-driven Accounting Lead / Staff Accountant to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing organization serving industries such as Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and Semiconductor. This is a key role reporting directly to the Division Controller and acting as a critical point of coordination between Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.

What You'll Do
You'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting operations across multiple locations. Key responsibilities include:
Lead & Support AR/AP Functions
- Lead & Support AR/AP FunctionsOversee high-volume Accounts Receivable (billing, cash application, reconciliations, customer setup)Support Accounts Payable (invoice processing, vendor management, cash requirements, 1099s)Act as the go-to liaison between AR and AP team members

What You Bring
✅ Experience & Leadership
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Prior experience in AR, AP, in an accounting lead/supervisory role
- Ability to act as a team buffer and problem-solver between functions
✅ Industry Knowledge
- Manufacturing experience REQUIRED (multi-site preferred)
✅ Technical Skills
- Strong accounting fundamentals (AR/AP, reconciliations, collections, 1099s)
- ERP experience required (Visual ERP a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups)
✅ Work Style
- Self-starter comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
Education
🎓 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
