This position is for a culturally sensitive Associate (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) interested in working to provide virtual therapy to adults, couples, teenagers children. The role will benefit from clinical supervision and mentorship in somatic and attachment-based approaches, developing cultural competencies and sensitivities, teletherapy caseload management training, and business skills for maintaining a private practice.
Compensation starts at $45 per hour and may increase based on experience and income generation. As per California law, all business associated fees are covered by employer (Simple Practice, workers compensation, Gusto, etc.)
Responsibilities
The position requires a motivated individual who can build and maintain a caseload of 12 or more clients and be available afternoons, evenings and/or weekends. The associate must maintain well organized client records and documentation to be reviewed on a regular basis in supervision meetings. Associates will keep appropriate professional boundaries and abide by all ethical and legal requirements.
The services delivered by the associate will be fully virtual.
Qualifications
- Spanish fluency is required
- Culturally proficient
- Must hold an MA in Clinical Psychology or Social Work
- Hold an associate number from the BBS
- Have completed a minimum of 1500 hours towards licensure
- Effective communication, organization and time management skills
- Experience in working with Latino communities essential
