Belimo is the global market leader in the development, production, and sales of field devices for the energy-efficient control of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The focus of our core business is on damper actuators, control valves, sensors and meters. Belimo has been disrupting the market for field devices in the building context for almost 50 years and is recognized as a technology leader.

The embedded software thereby builds the head of our device and consists control and communication logic. The software can be configured to work with a variety of different Belimo devices. As a working student embedded software, you will create solutions and support different topics around the build toolchain.

What You'll Do

• Analyze the current state of the implementation (build and analysis tools, CICD-pipeline, etc.) and the identify the missing features together with the embedded software development team
• Analyze if the missing features can be realized with the current setup
• Analyze possible alternatives if needed
• Implement the missing features
• Verify your solutions together with the development team

Who You Are

• Student in Software Engineering, ideally with a focus in embedded software development
• Interest to gain hands on experiences and insights into high quality v-model driven software process
• Programing skills in Python and C++
• Basic knowledge of UML
• Team player with an open personality
• Independent, reliable and goal-oriented way of working with the motivation to contribute your own ideas
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
