Role: Data Center Engineer

Salary: $80k - $130k spilt between base and bonuses
This is a brilliant opportunity for a Data Center Engineer to join a fast-paced environment supporting critical data center operations and low-latency infrastructure. The role offers hands-on experience with racking and stacking, cabling, and day-to-day infrastructure support, while also providing exposure to the performance-driven standards required in low-latency environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Rack, stack, and install servers, switches, and related hardware.
- Perform structured cabling for copper and fiber connections, including cable dressing, labeling, and cleanup.
- Support basic network tasks such as patching, connectivity checks, and confirming link status.
- Assist with hardware moves, adds, and changes, along with equipment audits and inventory updates.
- Follow site procedures for documentation, safety, and cleanliness in the data hall.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a data center, telecom, or similar hands-on infrastructure role.
- Strong cabling skills and confidence working with servers, switches, and patching.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as ports, links, VLANs, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently, follow process, and maintain accurate documentation.
- A practical, reliable approach and willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cisco or other enterprise networking equipment.
- Exposure to Linux or Windows server environments.
- Familiarity with DCIM, ticketing systems, or asset tracking tools.
