Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

Are you a driven and experienced recruiting professional with a passion for identifying and developing early-career technical talent? This is a dynamic, high-impact opportunity to own the full recruiting lifecycle for cloud and Azure-aligned roles in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. In this role, you will serve as a key talent partner, working closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and cross-functional stakeholders to attract, assess, and close top early-in-profession candidates across cloud, platform, and infrastructure disciplines. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of technical talent pipelines by delivering an exceptional candidate experience while maintaining the rigor, compliance, and operational excellence required in a scaled recruiting environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for early-in-profession cloud and technical roles, from sourcing through offer and close
  • Source and identify candidates for cloud and Azure-aligned roles, including infrastructure, distributed systems, and platform engineering, using a variety of channels
  • Screen and assess candidates to evaluate technical skills, cloud exposure, and role alignment
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and stakeholders on hiring needs, candidate profiles, and recruiting plans
  • Manage candidate communication and engagement throughout the hiring process
  • Lead candidate progression through interviews, debriefs, and offer and closing stages
  • Build and maintain pipelines of early-career cloud, platform, and infrastructure talent
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity in recruiting systems in alignment with process and compliance expectations
  • Contribute to high-volume hiring efforts across multiple teams and business groups

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition experience
  • Experience owning full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, offer support, and closing
  • Experience hiring for cloud, Azure, infrastructure, or distributed systems roles
  • Experience in high-volume recruiting environments
  • Experience supporting early-in-profession and university hiring programs, including intern and entry-level roles, as well as industry hiring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Strong ability to source and engage specialized cloud and technical talent, including passive candidates, using multiple channels such as LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, and referrals
  • Experience building and maintaining pipelines for cloud, infrastructure, or distributed systems talent with a clear understanding of Azure-aligned technical roles
  • Ability to conduct structured candidate screens evaluating skills, education, experience, and cloud or technical alignment across areas such as backend systems, distributed systems, and infrastructure
  • Experience qualifying candidates against defined hiring bar requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing through screening, interviewing, offer, and close
  • Strong applicant tracking system hygiene, including accurate tracking, documentation, and process compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and candidates simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong communication, stakeholder partnership, and organizational skills

Additional Details

  • Location: Remote
  • Duration: 5 months
  • Pay Range*: $36.50 - $41.50 per hour
  • Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
  • Job Status: Non-Exempt
