Job Mission

As an AX Sr Data Analyst, you will be part of the Product team implementing and continuously improving IT solutions across Bunzl Continental Europe (BCE) with a complex architecture and business landscape. You will be managing the data migrations across cross-functional projects and multiple systems, master data set, developing reports, analysis dashboards, and troubleshooting data issues. You will be working in an agile manner with international stakeholders across all parts of the business, as well as 3rd party vendors and integration partners. You will be part of the European technology team located in the Netherlands and Hungary providing IT services for over 40 businesses, in over 10 countries of Bunzl Continental Europe

Duties & Responsibilities

• Providing data analysis services within a project or operational context
• Work closely with Product team leaders to assist in ongoing business processes and migrating data for projects, outlining reporting and analysis requirements together with the customer/business
• Translating business reporting requirement into solutions
• Manage and execute data migration process
• Perform data mapping between different systems
• Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems
• Implement procedures for data handling and analysis
• Provide technical expertise in data cleansing
• Collect data, source missing data, organise data into usable formats
• Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion and provide quality assurance of imported data
• Generate reports and analysis from multiple systems

Required Experience/Skills

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in similar role or in a related field
• Experience with database programming languages and databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle server, Python are must)
• Experience in a complex ERP system from database understanding to data management, understanding of complex data models, with different unique identifiers
• Practical experience with data migration projects
• Experience to maintain data models - ability to map data from various sources
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
• Experience with data formats like JSON and XML
• Experience with an API based architectural landscape
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
