Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning – Develop and update test plans for autonomous haul trucks and drills.
- On‑Machine Testing – Execute field validation in rugged, mining‑like conditions.
- Data Analysis – Interpret test results to improve system reliability and performance.
- Troubleshooting – Resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in complex systems.
- Documentation – Create detailed reports and recommendations based on testing outcomes.
- Collaboration – Partner with onsite operators and remote software developers.
- Customer Interaction – Engage with end users to gather feedback and enhance product functionality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle/system test or validation.
- Strong skills in Linux/Ubuntu, electrical schematics, and autonomous systems (perception, planning, positioning).
- Proven ability in problem solving, teamwork, and time management.
- Comfortable working in hot, dusty, mining‑like environments and climbing onto large machines.
